Good deal for OKC I think. They don't lose anything scoring wise and 2nd unit ball handling duties will go to eric maynor I believe

I think it helps us. Harden killed us and was great all around. Kevin Martin doesn't scare me that much nor does he bring anything to the table besides scoring. I can see him being banged up a lot by the WCF as well.

For the future it may be a good deal for OKC with Lamb and 2 first rounders, but not right now. Who knows how Durant/Westbrook react to losign their bff.

Almost exactly my thoughts. I said in the Harden thread that this is a great future trade for the Thunder. The picks could turn into stars and Lamb will be a contributor in the future. But, for the here and now, it sets them back a bit. People are underestimating just how bad the Lakers were at defending Harden last year. Considering it might come down to us and the Thunder, it affects them negatively. Martin can go off at times, but he doesn't do it on anywhere near the consistency level that Harden does it. Nor does he bring all that Harden brings.

I think that Kevin Martin can bring more as less as much to the table in terms of scoring, but play-making and making the second unit run?

OKC is surely better off in the future, but I still don't understand why break up a championship material team. As much as a fan I am, OKC has a legit chance to beat us, so it doesn't really makes sense to break up their core.

Dwight's contract with Adidas ends in a year, surely he will make the right move a la what Kobe did and sign with Nike after. Besides, Adidas makes all official NBA jerseys so I don't buy too much into any supposed Adidas shoe contract "curse." knockonwood

Eh, Lamb is physically weak and not a great shooter. Martin is an inefficient volume shooter. And the two picks are worthless: one's ours and the other is lottery-protected.

Harden is a beast. Everyone is underrating him because he had one terrible series.
