QFT. Delts are a difficult area for natties to improve.
I always responded well to volume but the ego always went after the holy grail of lifting
HEAVY WEIGHT for HIGH REPS

Squatting 405 for 23 proves it. Bb rowing 405 for 20 proves it.
But I have nothing left to prove except to a judging panel and they don't give a crap what I lift. And what I used to and can lift would and has literally torn me apart.
My waist structure is WIDE...nothing you can do about bones but I can grow and create the illusion by jacking up my delts.

I'm kinda used to it CF but I've told many that I don't talk when training and left it at that.

Hey mang, good to see you.
Progression is often subjective as well as objective.
Just starting GVT was subjective progression for me.
Adding weight increments of 2.5, 5, 10, or 20 lbs. after successfully nailing a specified weight for 10x10 without loss of ROM and form is objective progression for me.
That's what I'm really after and really doing.
I'm adding totals to e-brag, amaze myself, and thought it would be cool to watch the numbers go up when I start prepping Jan. 1.
-and to prove to many on here that your strength does not need to drop when properly dieting.
I don't use my warm up sets in the total poundage and its really just for sh*ts and giggles for me...and to evetually prove a very importnat point later on.
Nice skittles.

Imo training is training...you want to lose bodyfat than focus on diet and cardio.
But, on the plus side GVT burns cals, and lots of 'em. Plus it focuses on muscle hypertrophy and in the end more muscle equals a higher metabolism.
I plan to do GVT my entire contest prep.
I think its good for anybody, newb, vet, endo, ecto, or meso.
The only way to truley know is to give it a run yourself.
I appreciate the questions fellas!

Last training session for 2011.
After a few sets of inclines I decided to ditch GVT as my screwing around the day before left me with some chest soreness that couldn’t be “worked through” with GVT.
Being the last session of 2011 I decided to say phuck it and went back to some old ways, mindful of stimulate don’t annihilate.

After my session on the elliptical I was informed by the PT manager of a weight loss comp held by my gym across my city.
Its $10,000.

Scramble city.
Change of plans.
Weight loss comp is 12 weeks, contest prep is 18.
I shall do both!
Hmmmmmm….
The Plan;
Fast bulk for sheer weight.
Weigh in and gym takes pics of me.
Bust ass, rinse, repeat for 12 weeks.
All top 10 finishers win prizes.
Either way…win/win for me.
$10,000 comp over I continue to prep like a bodybuilder until May.
If I phuck up here for the bb’ing show, no worries as I’ve now scoped ‘em all out and there’s many more after that.
Now its time to gain as much weight (water, fat, muscle) as possible in the next few days before weigh ins.
Water weight goes fast, new fat is easier to burn than old fat, and the muscle weight I’m just gonna keep.

After work I go to my gym for the weigh in a pic taking.
I think I put on close to 20 lbs. the last few days (srs).
Should take less than a week to lose it all.
I’m trying not to use the bathroom until after weigh ins.
Today is back to a little more sanity. Have some salty food and water until weigh ins. No need for the cals as I want weight and it doesn’t need to ALL come from stored bodyfat.
After weigh ins its time to get to work and I can ditch this heart attack waiting to happen eating..
About phucking time!!
How does one gain a whole bunch of WEIGHT in a few days??
Night #1
Two 12” 2 topping pizzas
1 Whole 9” cheesecake
1.65 litres of Rolo ice cream
And about 2/3 of a mickey of vodka
Night #2
1 whole loaf of WHITE bread
8 whole eggs, a carton of egg whites
Ketchup
1.85 litres of Chocolate Decadence ice cream
And about 2/3 of a mickey of vodka
Night #3
¾ package spaghettini
1 lb. ground beef
Tomato soup, ketchup
1.65 litres of Turtle ice cream
2 litres of cream soda
And about 2/3 of a mickey of vodka
I can think of no better way to make myself look like sh*t than to eat this and drink liquor.
This is quite the opposite of bodybuilding.
This is bodywrecking.
Do not be alarmed.
I’m not turning into an alcoholic (I don’t even like booze) and I don’t have an eating disorder.
There is a strategy to this and I may be crazy but I’m definitely not stupid.
And a new edition inspired by my eating madness;

I had so much sugar last night I was sweating all night up until 11 A.M the next day.

This was a three day massive bulk for sheer weight gain. I don't normally eat like that and hopefully will not again.
I was setting myself up for a weight loss comp in my gym.
I needed to gain weight fast and look like crap, fast.

LOL
IMO, these are the differences in body types I'm so hung up on.
I have no problem packing on weight, fat or muscle. and it takes a hell of a lot of abuse to my body to get rid of the fat.
That money would set me up rather nicely in life...its more than I owe right now.

The 1st workout in a succession of 4 that I was ill.
Sinus and lung infection in addition to a mysterious neck pain that necessitated antibiotics, an anti-inflammatory, and muscle relaxants (mr’s I refused to take).
My lower back injury has resulted in permanent progressively worsening arthritis.
And some people might wonder why I’m in such a rush to compete.
‘cuz I don’t know how long I’m going to be able to do this for.
