both of my knees have dislocated since i was 8-9 years old
i posted a vid of me doing dumbbell squats on another forum and not long after i got a PM off a girl who said it looked like i had hyper mobility, i wasnt sure what that was so i googled it and it does seem like i fit the bill
ive always had problems with joints, not just my knees, my hips, elbows, wrists and shoulders too and this would really explain why, tonight my wrist and elbow on my left has really given me hassle and my arm is now aching
obviously im going to the docs to get this checked out so i will know for definite if it is hyper mobility
im just wondering if anyone has this who lifts?

Hey, i'm a hypermobile musician and go gym a lot too, i recommend you stabilize your joins but doing very slow intensity workout targeting slow twitch muscle fibers before going to train heavy.
Make sure your shoulders are stable, you may need to do shoulder cuff exercises to prevent arm/wrist/shoulder neck pain.
a really important one is a deep neck flexor exercise too, it locks your head in proper position
Press up plus exercise is real good for keeping scapula in position
if you're hypermobile and only got problems with legs, other stuff like neck and shoulders are coming your way.
