ON gold Standard Whey has been best seller forever on this site.. that should tell you something. In the end protein is.. protein just remember itīs only a supplement to your diet try to get most of your protein from actual foods instead of supps

protein is protein OP, so just find the chepeast deal.
Just don't buy from sci-fit...
XF why is good and so is myo. i think all myo is pretty good. And ON is always aight. some of ON flavors might be a tad off. but ON mixes so light and well that it doesnt really matter. And if its horrible i just mix with water and chug it real quick. sucks tho. nobody wants to be stuck with 5 lbs of nasty tasting protein.
ON's vanilla is sooo weak u can't even taste it, water or milk. their chocolate is okay. really liquidy like i said. Their strawberry tastes so chemically. so does myos strawberry kinda chemically.
myos banana is the shiett and so is cookies n cream.
as for truetein idk. i haven't tried any but their protein is a mix too. and its about the same price as myo.
But i also bought chocolate muscle milk from costco same deal as urs. but mine was 36 bucks. not 40. and it tastes good. and i haven't had any problems. and like i said. w/e is the better deal.
and yea those guys who tell u to eat whole foods aren't doing any harm. Its just protein shakes help so much. like getting 50 grams??? freaking 50 grams??? than u only have to eat like 150 grams of protein from whole foods instead of 200. and that is a big freaking help.
Not everybody has time to chew on chicken breast and 10 oz steak 6 times a day. Nor the money.
And plz don't use that stupid Nutella analogy. Cuz nobody wants to eat that much almond choclate spread either. Or all that fat.

^^ Making inference isnt going to get you anywhere i never said theirs anything wrong with your ĻstackĻ. Iīm stating the facts he asked for an opinion i gave him mine nothin wront with that. Arguing about which protein is better is pointless in the end itīs just a sup like i told him itīs all about your diet protein powders like any other sup are their to ĻsupplementĻ for what you dont get in your diet. Dont hate just cause im new.

I never said one protein is better than the other lol. I said there are better companies than ON based on the fact ON is overpriced and their success is based mostly, if not totally, on marketing. I'm not hating cause you're new, I'm making you aware because I know you most likely haven't tried anything besides ON.

Cytosport is a quality company and you are seriously misinformed and/or naive if you think there is a significant quality difference between the two proteins you mentioned. Do you honestly think that taking Cytosport's $39 whey protein is going to cost you gains vs ON's $43 whey protein? Get real. You could probably find a $25-30 protein like a Dymatize that would, for years at a time, give you the same results as using ON's, or Cytosports, you'd have the same gains, etc. as long as you are getting the same gram dosages of whey and hitting your macros.

I always get ON from costco. The first time i ever bought protein was from costco it was cytosport. The second time and there after i keep buying ON because it has better flavor and it mixes better. For cytosport i had to blend it for there wont be chunks. I dont know if ON is better tho but I always notice that the bags of ON are nice and clean vs the cytosport which are covered in powder or dust but even if its powder its a red flag. There products might be great but there manufacturing might not and the powder can get contaminated (with dirt, other products, or flavors). Its just like would you rather eat at a place where they regulary wash there hands when they make your food and keep everything clean or eat somewhere where they dont clean there hands as often and its not as clean? But both use fresh ingredients and good cooking techniques.

Optimum Nutrition (ON) VS Cytosport (Muscle Milk Brand) 100% Protein
The past two times I've purchased protein, it has been the Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard 100%, which I've caught on sale previously. But, my supply of that was running low, and seeing the Cytosport was about 20% cheaper, I decided to give it a try, after noting it has slightly more proein per serving.
Before opening, I noted negative reviews, and decided to do a taste test, so I grabbed two mixer cups, putting a small black dot on one to differentiate, and mixed up 1/2 a scoop in each. I usually mix mine thin, so the mix was 1/2 scoop to a small magic bullet mixer cup, which is about 8 fluid oz. Or 1/2 the suggested mixing ratio.
The ON powder is a little darker shade. When mixed up, it appeared to have slightly creamier foam, and darker fluid. Since I could visually tell them apart, I closed my eyes, and switched them around a dozen or so times before opening and taking just a sip off the foam head.
The difference was VERY aparent. I got the Cytosport first, and immediately knew it wasn't my usual. It was borderline disgustingly sweet. Unexpectedly, it was so sweet, that the ON tasted almost like straight water by comparison (contrast).
I proceeded to drinking the actual wet fluid portion. The ON was very palatable, though seemed bland after the Cyto, but went down quickly. The Cyto was borderline difficult to drink. - Okay, not to sound extreme. If you like super sweet stuff, think of it like drinking a sprite without the fizz. 20 Minutes later, I can still taste it in my mouth, which I don't recall ever being the case with ON. I think I'd have a hard time sipping a full serving. I'd have to just pound it to tolerate it.
By comparison, I also purchased the chocolate Cyto, too, and used a full serving last night after my workout. As I've never used chocolate of either brand before, and did find it fairly sweet, but didn't mind so much, as I expect chocolate to be sweeter than vanilla, regardless of brand.
Aside from that, I woke up this morning with a mild headache, which is unusual for me - I don't even get hangovers. Someone had mentioned in their review the use of Sucralose and that there have been concerns about it. I acknowledge this may be coincidental, but from someone who eats very little candy to suddenly get a headache, I suspect there may be something to it. Given I needed to arise to urinate early in the morning, I don't suspect I was dehydrated. And yes, I've noted they both contain it, but it seems by the sweetness, that Cyto contains much more.
Bottom line: If you like your stuff super sweet, and don't get headaches from Sucralose, go for it, if not, spend a little more and get the ON. I'm going to try these a few more times and if the headache continues / I don't acclamate to the sweetness, I will return it.
