I like some of their songs, i think the problem with them and any other band like them is that they quickly lose flavor / originality.

same thing can be said about Disturbed or any other late 90's "rock" or "metal" band. they have lost their originality a long time ago and just continue to make bland, tasteless songs. they are slowly but surely losing their relevance in the music industry, thank god.

This. I didn't even hear of them when they were "Underground" so by the time I did and liked maybe one or two songs..it was not cool to like them.

But like Op said..they still draw crowds at concerts and sell records. Bands that suck completely don't get that far. Bieber will be gone once he hits puberty and his voice changes like the boyband members before him.

The post was pretty much a joke to take the piss out of Canadians. I realize Canada has good music. It's just the ones that are shoved down Americans' throats are terrible (true for a lot of American music as well).

Because of a lot of nickelback's songs are actually good/decent. The reason they're hated on is because they're artistic failures in that all of their **** sounds the same/is the exact same formula... just because they're a failure from a creativity standpoint does not mean that their music sounds bad.

Yeah, they are not the greatest band......I would never pay money to go to their shows, to me........ they have very lame rock songs......... I was very disappointed when I bought that album with How you remind me in it, i come from 3rd world country and I was saving up to get it, and when you are 18 money does not come easy in 3rd world country.......ohh men.... that still hurts. I was so disappointed............wish I never bought that cd.
