    Why do I keep throwing up every morning?

    This is really starting to piss me off. I don't see a reason to go to a doctor because I know the cause of it all. I am on well over a month of no-contact with an ex and at times I still feel blah about everything. I graduated college as of June and just started seeking a full time job in business the last few weeks. Over the first few weeks of no contact I may threw up once/twice a week after waking up. This week I have thrown up all 3 days. Once I puke I feel a lot better but it is still really crappy and I would like this go away. This also probably can't be good for my body.

    Anyone else have this happen to them or am I just a total headcase? I can remember back about 5 years ago when I was under serious stress with a gf and away for hockey I was throwing up about every practice.

    The funny thing is my life isn't even bad or anything, I am free to do whatever I want I just am really anxious about finding a job so I have a sense of worth/purpose. I am still upset over the breakup but it has been well over a month and I have held strong with no contact.

    Cheer me up bro's, I need it.

    anyways, are you talking to other girls? have you tried finding/meeting other girls? that's really the best way to get over a breakup.

    Ya, I know/talk to a lot of girls, I have banged one a few times from my past since everything ended with the other girl. It doesn't really make me feel better but it keeps my mind occupied. I have been going out and keeping social as well.

    I do seem to have anxiety issues really bad right now but I do not want to go on medication/become a robot or anything of that sort. I had a horrible breakup back about 4 years ago and I was prescribed something and it just made me more depressed and such, I don't want to go that route at all again.

    The only option you have is to flirt with a lot of girls + fuk a lot of girls. Get your mind off your ex. Have you deleted her #, blocked her on fb yet? DO IT.

    I know it's difficult to get over some breakups brah. I'm still not completely over my last real relationship, which was like a year ago...

    No matter what, you may want to see a doc. All that bile passing through your esophagus can't be good for you. Plus, it might help your daily patterns/sleep/etc..

    Sometimes meds are good. And just because you're on something doesn't make you any less of a person.

    But in the end it's up to you, brah. Nobody can tell you to do something if you don't want to.

    I got this.....
    The reson you are throwing up every morning is basically do to two main reasons, for one you are very stressed even though you think you're fine, your body is still in a fight or flight response. Ever feel a sense of extra energy throught the day then an unsetteling fatigue early on at night, that's an adrenaline overdose. Two, you may be so conditioned to thinking about her that you derive a deep sense of actual pain which comes in the form of heart break, or more technically a rapid pulse and acid reflux. I know I had pain swallowing food and water a few weeks ago and had the same problems with fatugue, but I managed to get over it.

    The only thing a doctor may tell you is that you have "Takotsubo cardiomyopathy"-broken heart syndrome, and give you antianxiety meds and Tums for a few weeks. You'll save a small fortune if you just lay off the caffeine, back away from acidic foods (like tomatoes or all their products), take tums religiously, and try to relax more. Within a week or so of decreased stress you'll be feeling more like yourself.

    Number has been deleted, facebook as well for well over a month, no contact has been made, everything removed, pics deleted, blocked her on gchat, skype, etc etc.

    I have been going out, been social, went to a party last night, had a girl in my bed today but honestly I don't really feel any better. I am 100% better than where I was a month ago but this puking thing seems like it is all mental now, like I need to do it each morning to feel better and that sounds absolutely horrible. I can't really tell because when I lay in bed (I have been sleeping in late) I get this really anxious feeling and then I eventually just have to throw up. I know I sound like a crazy person, lol.

    I can't tell if you are serious but I am bored so I am going to reply anyways.

    I hope you don't honestly think that breaking down and ****ing your ex is going to make you feel better overall? Sure maybe you feel good now, maybe you will for the next week or month but if you were exercising no contact, it was probably for a reason and by breaking that you are opening yourself for a whole bunch of hurt. What happens when you hear about him banging other chicks, is that going to make you feel good you opened up this can of worms again?

    I've been throwing up every morning for the past 10 months. Went to a doctor and every test has come back normal. I had pretty bad anxiety but as my anxiety's settled down the vomiting is getting worse. Used to be just dry heaving every morning now it's straight up puking water or stomach acid every morning within 5 minutes of getting up. I feel 100% better for the rest of the day after puking but then the next morning it starts again. ****ing sucks dude. Starting to think I somehow got some sort of cyclic vomiting syndrome. Makes no sense =/

    I might end up going if it doesn't get any better but I was 100% fine before the breakup occurred so I am doubting some crazy disease or something just kicked in ironically at the same time, although I am sure it is possible. I don't really understand it, it has to be a mental thing? I have read on here about people having similar problems with appetite and throwing up but it just seems like after a month or so it shouldn't be getting worse (It was maybe 5-7 times total in the first month and 3 times this week). My stress with finding a job is adding too it because I feel like until I do I am useless having just gotten dumped and now still unemployed after graduating back in June.

    i doubt this can contributed to stress issues, because ur throwing up only in the morning , not in any other time.

    It's very weird, when I am laying in bed I feel okay but then when i start my day (for example today I was up at 8am, drove home from a friends house who had a party then went back to sleep, woke up at like noon and ate a yogurt then puked after that, so it isn't right when I wake up. It's like my mind just runs crazy for a few minutes and once I puke I feel 100% better, hence why I think it is all mental. Sometimes I will wake up and still feel anxious but not come close to throwing up, it is all very confusing. As I mentioned earlier, I have a tendency to throw up for periods of time with I am very stressed out.
