If your arms are shredded they would look awesome in a sleeveless nearly no matter what size they are. 14 inchers in a sweater would look unnoticable thought.
Judging by your avi your bf is average not what I would call low, if you got less then 16 inches you need some really good muscle insertions or a very low bf to make your arms look impressive.Former no-avi anonymous

Yes, this.
People grossly inflate the size of their arms, so in the misc 14'' has been demoted to non-lifting status.
Measuring accurately it's hard because the tape must be perfectly perpendicular to the arm, just a little of inclination will screw up the measure.
It also depends on the position of the arm, for example I've noticed the arm flexed on the side seems to measure a little more than the arm on the double bi pose.
Then of course you have to measure it cold, not with a pump.3k+

I have 15.5 inch arms, and people always can tell that i lift. Its not just your arms that go into play, its your traps / shoulders, your chest.. etc..
like if i wear a shirt its usually tighter on the top ( from chest, traps, ) and looser on the bottom. I dunno if its just my arm / body structure or what but i get compliments all the time.Raise ya glass.. Lets toast to when we didn't have.. Hustle + Muscle = success... I did the math...
