Cant lift leg from a seated position

I was playing basketball and injured something around my groin/hamstring area. after looking at some stuff online, i feel like its a pulled groin or a hip flexor.

my biggest concern is that i cant lift my leg from a seated position. its not like i can do it but it hurts, my body just doesnt do it/doesnt respond to the command.

how concerned should i be? i tore my meniscus a few years ago and i think i remember the same thing (not being able to move my knee)

I was getting more nervous, and uttered out the most idiotic thing I could have said "Do you like daggers" Her "what? umm never really thought about them before" I could see her looking at her phone, looking at her hair, looking at her shirt. I then started getting really really nervous, and had a panic attack.

are you able to raise your hip joint when you are standing or is it exclusively when you are sitting? I don't know at all but it sounds like a nerve issue if your you brain wants to do it but your hip flexor muscle does not respond to the command.
