I'm still not ready to give up on Cutler. If he had a good OC and a competent line I think he could still be a franchise guy, he just needs everything to be in his corner.

Problem with Cutler is he chokes hard in the games which matters. He is good enough to take this team to the playoffs, but it's hard to see him going past the championship game.

And who will replace him at QB? Jason Campbell? That was a disaster.

Bears players loved Lovie, and i can see many of them thinking the same right now. However, at the end of the day, they all wanna get paid so theyll be back.


Thing with Hester is though, he is worried that a new Coach will most likely trade him or put him back strictly in Special teams.

Yeah, but they might have been able to trade him for something. Contemplating retirement basically kills any trade value he had.

A new HC will be able to hire/fire coordinators as he pleases and bring in his own guys. Lovie going almost gurantees Tice is gone too.

They can't interview him until the Packers get knocked out of the playoffs. Also, while I like doing things to hurt the Packers, I think he's kind of old. Isn't he like 60 or 61?

Why not? Andy Reid is great at utilizing the QBs talents. We need an offensive mind that wants to stick with Marinelli. He has had a nice resume up til Vick did his typical flash in the pan

His antipathy for the running game will be problematic, especially in Chicago with the horrible winter weather and the city of Chicago's inability to maintain the field.

Also, with all of the off the field stuff he went through he seems to have lost it a little bit, I think it'd do him a lot of good to do like Shannahan did and take a year off.

He would treat forte just like Lsean Mccoy, which in all reality screens and draws is what Forte is best at.


Shanahan always had crappy defense which is why he was fired. This is why you need a good defensive coordinator. Lets face it, Marinelli was the brains behind the defense not Lovie. When Lovie took over on D he sucked it up.

As far as I care, him, Urlacher, the O line and half the defense can follow Lovie right out the door. They're getting old and it's time to shake things up.

Hester is pretty dumb. Have you ever heard him in his interviews? There is a reason why they send other people to speak to the media

It's painful listening to him. His lack of intelligence is why he's always running the wrong routes and being a horrible receiver in general. You can tell Cutler hates throwing him the ball because it's 50/50 on him catching it or running the wrong route and it getting intercepted.

Marshall and Jeffrey will be a great 1-2 punch next year so long as the Bears get a respectable OC and O line. I like Bennett in the slot, too. Plenty of good pieces on offense, just a horrible head coach and OC in terms of offensive intelligence. Lovie needs to be a DC, not a head coach and Tice would be better as a greater at Walmart.
