Is there anyway the Bears get good next year? Do they even have any money in free agency? Or should we expect another horrible year regardless of coach?

Great thing about the NFL is you can go from worst to first in one offseason (and vice versa) so ill probably go into next season expecting super bowl, but we will still probably suck

Not sure what they will even do. I'm assuming Mariota & Winston will both be gone by then? What are the chances we land a future MLB? Hope maybe Emery trades back into the 1st round to get a future safety.

I wouldn't be expecting super bowl, the way things are going we will be starting a rebuild after this season.

I'm part of some Bear's groups on ********. I don't get how some people can still back the pathetic play of Cutler. Constantly people on these groups blaming everything on the defense and rubbing Cutler's balls. Yes, we all know our defense is atrocious, but they also are on the field constantly because Cutler and the offense can't get on the same page going 3 and out or he is throwing picks. There have been plenty of games where it is close early at 0 to 0 or we are only down 7 or 10 and the offense can't put any scoring drives together before the game gets out of hand.

And another thing, it is Wk15 of year 2 of Trestman and he still has implemented any type of hurry up or up tempo offense. Like in Dallas little to late, last night its a little too late. WTF is wrong with this FUK!?

Bucs, Raiders, Titans, Jags, Redskins and Jets all have 2 and 3 wins. Not sure the tie breaks if the 3 win teams win out and we lose out, but that is 6 ahead of the Bears. So at best 7th I guess depending on how the last 2 weeks play out.

But depending on who they target, they should move down to the middle of the 1st if possible

Well the Bears beat the Jets so they would win (or lose) that tiebreaker, it goes to conference record next and I just checked and Washington only has one win against an NFC opponent, so it looks like the best they can do is 7 because of the tiebreaker rules.

Cubs are looking pretty damn good right now. Hopefully the reports about Trestman are true, he needs to be gone.

At least with news leaked that Trestman is likely gone, we can figure pretty much the entire coaching staff is gone too. I don't think there is anyone on that staff that deserves to stay on either side of the ball. The problem I see now is, who the fuk is going to want to come into this mess and try and work with ****ler. With the amount of coordinators this ******* has gone through and now seems likely he will be on his 3rd head coach in 6 seasons with the Bears and now his 5th offensive coordinator. There is no fixing this guy. I don't know that any head coach is going to want to come into this mess that will be worth the Bears pursuing. I don't want Trestman here, or ****ler but I don't see this getting better anytime soon even with coaching changes. Hopefully some team is dumb enough and desperate enough to want to get ****ler in a trade.

Benching Cutler is just Trestman's last ditch effort to save his job. So if we win with Clausen he can say "See you guys it w-wasn't my bad coaching all along".
