I make this post with a very, very heavy heart. After hearing Garrett's best friend talk tonight, I want you guys to know one thing...tell your brother, tell your best friend no matter what, above all else, that you love them. Tell them they're a part of your family. You've been through so much and there's still a ton more you're going to go through. I'm sitting in my car crying right now because there's 2 parents that are going to bury their son tomorrow, there's a sister that doesn't have a brother anymore, and there's a best friend that is by himself now. The other day I was asked if I'd ever die for one of my friends, take a bullet. Without hesitation I said yes. He is my best friend and he is my brother.

Tell your family you love them, whether you believe in God, Jesus, Buddah, or if you don't believe in anything at all. Tell them you love them. This kid was 19 and now his parents, his sister, his family are going to bury him. It's not how life is supposed to go.

Great post, so much truth. 2 weeks ago I buried my buddy who died on halloween night. He was 26, so much ahead of him, so many people felt the void in their lives he left when he died. Seeing a young person die without cause is heartbreaking. I actually saw his father this morning, very tough time.
Oh, and fukk these clowns, they just want to rile people up to get money because they are too worthless to work honestly.

I'm not going to lie, first thing I think of when I hear of deaths among people this young, especially having friends who died already, is that said person was on something. To know that couldn't be further from the case, and that this was a stand up kid, man...really puts things in perspective. Life's just way too fragile. I can't imagine being a father who has to bury his child.
