I heard it was based on genetics, but I'm not really sure, I'm only 14 and I just started workout out, the left side of my abs are visible from a distance (so the line thingy) and my right side, you can't really see anything but when I feel my right side I feel just a tiny little line... I work my body all equally so I dont know, any help?

It happened to me in the first time i was seeing my abs this happened to me because i used my dominant arm which is the right one to cary heavier bags when my mom sent me to buy groceries ,the wight imbalance made my left side of my abs to cantract (even thought the rectus abdominus is only 1 muscle so better said my left side had the biggest contraction) to keep me straight try it carry a 10 pound dumbell on 1 arm and relax your abs the solution is simple carry a 10 pound dumbell on the opposite side that is less toned for a couple minutes so in your case hold it on your left arm so the right side of the abs contract sorry if its so long
