Such a huge honor to be selected to share my story with everyone on this site. I started as a very skinny kid, I was an athlete and could stay fairly cut but had issues with gaining weight being a born ectomorph (hardgainer). I had a goal a dream to be a top fitness model and be a world champion one day. This year I was able to experience that and now share my story of how I did it. It took me 13 years to accomplish this goal, as badly as I wanted it when I was 18 years old, the 140lb skinny look was not going to win on any stage. 13 years and 90 lbs of muscle later I won on the biggest fitness model stage in the world, Capturing the 2011 Wbff Muscle Model Championship. My advise to you is work very hard, be patient with things, gaining 6-8 lbs of muscle per year for a ectomorph is a great year, cut all the negatives in your life including the negative people, growing up I had haters, people telling me I was wasting my time "your just a skinny white kid from kansas". Where are these people now? Use these people as motivation for you getting to your goals. Anything is possible and I am living proof of that. Best of luck to all of you in reach your fitness goals!!! Now I transform people for a living with clients in over 60 countries many which have too been featured on this site. No better feeling then helping someone, I didnt have any help when I started so I always told myself if I make it I will give back!!! Http://www.hitchfit.com

Yes 13 years, I was 140lbs at age 19 when I started, Im 32 now.. The time comes down to your start point and your overall goal. I had major major goals that were hard for anyone to believe would happen, It took many years but came true!! Thank you for the comment bro!!! Just know you were at a far better start point then me at age 18!!!

It was very close but i took control of the stage and I do believe that is what set me apart, that and the best balanced body. KC IN THE HOUSE!!!!

Damn, when I see something like this I have an urge to do only one thing, to slap me as hard as I can! I am really whiny chicken sometimes..
I have just start to bodybuilding , actually seven months ago! And at the very beginning I was building just for the beach-look. I though it will be easy.. after a three months of working I realized it is much more then only lifting! It is a unique way of life, unique love, unique nutrition, unique trainings, there are a lot of different factors that made us look better or worser! I am still in learning process, but I can't believe how much I learned for the last two months. Now I have a proper nutrition, proper suplementation and a good training I believe!
In the first period of my bodybuilding I was cutting, so I managed to lose 15 kilograms in 4 months. Now I am bulking, want to get back those 15 kilograms ( muscles ) but there is a fear that eating much carbs will make me fat. Actually I am eating a lot so far, 120 grams of oats ( meal 1 ) 240 grams of rice ( meal 2 & 3) , and 200 grams of tomato ( meal 4) but still after a two weeks I am still stuck with kilograms. To increase carbs? :>
And your personal opinion , upper/lower body training , or split ( chest/biceps,back/triceps/,legs/abs,shoulder/traps ) ?
And keep up with the good work, from the pictures you look like an actor! And you should be one..

Thank you so much for your nice comments.. When I first started working out I didnt have anyone guiding me, I wasted years trying to figure out how everything worked in building and being as lean as possible. Bulking is about eating lots of food and training heavier, also cut back on the cardio. Increase carbs, its ok if you put on a little bit of fat you can always get cut, I find it easier to build muscle when Im 8-12% opposed to 6% or below.. Good luck buddy. If I lived in La I would get into acting liek many of my friends but living in kansas city there is not much opportunity for it

Awesome buddy.. Love hearing about people who dive head first into fitness. The thing is we constantly are learning so just take everything in and then figure out what is best for your body!!You are not overtraining as long as your allowing the muscles your training in the gym to recover.

Thank you for the compliment man, you have no idea how much I love when people ask this. Ok lets break it down.. 13 years, 90 lbs of muscle is a average of just under 7 lbs per year, no stretch marks, no hair loss, no acne, never injured and in perfect health, If i would have used I would of got to this goal in half the time Im assuming. Again thank you for comment, you made my day, I practice what I preach and its not steroid use!!! Skinny guys out there it can be done, work hard, be patient and eat a boatload of food!!!
