Why am I always so bloated?

Do any of you guys have this problem?

When I flex my abs show, but when I'm relaxed I have a definite gut.

What could be causing this? I was thinking maybe it's my diet, genetics, or a weak TVA?

Nah, my diet is pretty plain really. Maybe bloated is the wrong word, it's just that when I relax my abdominal region I get a big gut, and when I tense my top 6 abs are visible.

    Forever tensing feelsbadman.

mid section definition is all about body fat %. You need a really low bf% like 6-7% for abs to show while relaxed. 8-12% will still show abs while flexing, just not while relaxed.

Do you work out your abs a lot? I've noticed that the stronger my abs get, the bigger my stomach is when I'm not flexing, probably because I work them quite hard and they keep getting bigger.

I haven't worked my abs more than a couple of times in the last year.

I'll post a pic of what I mean when I get home.

Try eating less bulky food. Like Broccoli and other fibrous veggies OP, could help.

    Here are some pics of me from a couple of days ago;

I'd say I'm fairly lean maybe 13%, my abs do showwhen I tense them, even in bad light.

I'll upload a relaxed shot when I can.

Exactly the same problem here, was searching for an answer myself,my abs show while tensed but as soon as i fully relax my stomach sticks out a fair way further than my chest, looks rediculous

Some things I found and may try while searching around:

Start taking a digestive enzyme supplement to help food move through faster and reduce bloating
Do regular stromach vaccumes to work the inner abs, may help hold the stomache in and improve posture
Quite alot of people mentioned colon cleansing to clean out digestive system or somthing, but then there was a lot of negative feedback on that aswell claiming it was a myth
Aparently people can be mildly lactose intolerant aswell, so can drink milk fairly comfterably but does cause bloating and gas?

I haven't tried any of them yet so can't vouch for any of them but they're things I intend to give a try, would be greatful if anyone on here that has tried any of the above could give me a little more info on whether they work or not

Thanks for the info, I was thinking of trying the enzyme and the vacuums lol.

I was (and I suppose still am) mildly lactose intolerant, and I do drink a lot of milk, so that could be it I suppose... I just love milk so much!

Work your TVA and eat food with less sodium. You could try and space your meals more thoughout the day, so you eat less at a time, that might help too.

Yeah I'm not sure whether I am or not so I'll proboly try a week without lactose containing products or somthing, if I found out it was that I would proboly just put up with the bloating to be honest lol, I get a good 70g of my daily protein from skimmed milk :P
