Bought this last week, but installed it today. There was a flat hollow core door there. This is at the bottom of the stairs going into my basement. This should brighten up the basement stairs a ton. Door handle and casing go up tomorrow. I'll paint it when I paint the rest of the house.

Do it, but don't let your friend shoot it on the first day you use it...
Brb, ordering some new aiming guide rods and light diffusers. Luckily, the part that got it was a cheap replacement part, not the case or the electronics (we were measuring our pistol muzzle speeds, friend grazed the left rod and took it the fuk out).
If I'm not mistaken, $80 is the lowest price I've seen since I've entertained the idea of getting a chronograph. Works just fine, although a remote would be super handy when working with rifles.Do I even lift?

Just picked up a Howa .223 today from the LGS.
The owner said once he sells the .223 on the shelf he wont be getting any for quite a while. I bought the lot.
I've got a Nikon Monarch 2-8x32 and mounts coming from theriflescopestore.com which should be here in a week!
