Yeah unless you use it a lot it aint worth it. About the winterizing though, we use ours more in the winter than we ever do in the summer, it's my hunting machine and gets me to remote camping. I park my current boat in my backyard behind a privacy fence gate I made, but this new one will be too wide to fit through it so I'll have to leave it at my dad's place, which means I'll have to get a cover for it to keep the oak tree garbage from falling into it. Arg, I see lots of new investments headed my way.

My HOA pitched a fit with it in the driveway (which I wasn't gonna leave it there anyway just hadn't had a chance to move it) but they left me alone for 3+ years with it in the backyard because you can't see it behind the privacy fence and that's the way it was written in the rules. Somewhere along the 4 year mark I got a letter about it and I looked up the rules so I could reference them in my letter back and they had changed them on me, lol, now it simply read that a boat could not be stored anywhere on HOA property. Bastages! I took it over to my dad's house for a couple months and then brought it back without any trouble. Lately between trips it'll be in the driveway Thu-Fri and again Sun-Mon/Tue as I prep/deprep it and haven't had any issues. There's a rental house across the way and I never seem to have any trouble unless there's a For Rent sign out front, I think the realtor that puts the place up sends in a bunch of complaints on everything until they get a lease signed.
