Just picked these up tonight. I can't use them until after Christmas, but it's all good. I finally have a respectable set of clubs.

Actual last purchase:
My birthday was yesterday. My ex-gf got me a Coleman Sunset Dunes tent, my buddy got me a 8 pack of Guinness, and my mother got me a Carhartt active duck jacket as well as a new rifle case for the 7 Mag. Two other buddies of mine are taking me to a comedy show tonight, then we're watching the Strikeforce fights.
I don't even celebrate birthdays or holidays. But hell, I'm not one to look a gift horse in the mouth. Probably going rabbit hunting tomorrow to top it all off.Near, far, wherever you are...
...I believe that the heart does go on.
Once more, you open the door.
And you're here in my heart.
And my heart will go on and on.

I'm a 60-70 Handicap.
If you look back a couple pages, you'll see the R7 driver, 3 wood and hybrid I got. I've got a Riffe 2 bar blade putter, and a set of RAM wedges.
I got the irons on sale for $300 from Golf Galaxy (4-PW+AW). They are the Burner plus. It says they are very forgiving, but we'll see how much they forgive me. The sole on them is enormous. I could take shots of whiskey out of the cavity on the back.Your freedom to be you includes my freedom to be free from you. -AW

Yeah, my Nike Machspeed irons have a pretty large cavity back, also. As for forgiving, they can be on the few occasions that I swing halfway decent. Good distance, too. My PW is good for about 145 yards and 7 iron has been known to go 180-190 yards.

Very nice!
I'm still trying to figure out how to swing decently (plan on some lessons). I carry my 3 iron after I tee off since I can't seem to hit anything farther than about 180 yards. I got some good pointers from my uncle this weekend and I'll be finding time next week to hit the range.Your freedom to be you includes my freedom to be free from you. -AW

Latest purchase, closed the deal and picked it up at the coast yesterday but it was rainy and got late on us so we just headed home. Freaking stoked and can't wait to get it on the water. Damn thing's got red LED lights in the livewells and that Suzuki 4 stroke 140 is so quite you damn near can't hear it idling if you're not paying attention.
Sorry for the horrible pics brahs, it's been raining here non stop and I threw the cover on it as soon as we got home so this is all I've got for now. I'll get pics on the water on Monday I think.

1942, Round, Russian
(that's not actually a picture of mine btw, I'll snap one and up load it later)
yeah that's pretty cool your buddy could tell you all about it. I found a website that just asked some questions and, based on your answers, will tell you a little about it but I'm sure it wasn't as in depth.
I would have preferred to get a Hungarian, but I couldn't find any at the show that were in great shape and priced right. The Russian I picked up had a a really smooth moving bolt, nice looking bore, still had agood finish, ect. and I got it pretty cheap.Last edited by TonytheOnly; 01-08-2012 at 05:40 PM.

VERY pleased with my latest purchase. Lowrance HDS-5. Of course I got it on clearance because I'm a cheap bastage...
