Big thumbs up to theriflescopestore.com
I received my order of 2 scopes, rings and bases in 4 days from the USA. Including shipping it worked out to be almost half the cost than if I bought locally.

^^^^ lol
I got some remington value pack 12g slugs and winchester 7-1/2 shots at walmart tonight for a make shift "run and gun" I have coming up at the end of the month.
Best part about tonight was the guy could not care less about the 3 box limit. Too bad there wasn't any .223 Either way bought 3 boxes of target shot (75 shells) and 2 value packs of slugs (30 shells) and off I went.MFC

We tried BC flip ups at the LGS, however, the scope is mounted so low they wouldn't clear the rear of the bolt.
Here's a cover chart:

My time spent reading on M4C and other forums indicates that these are the best magazines for the AR15 type platform:
PMAG 30's
Lancer
Troy
NHMTG/Colt aluminum mags (made in Hartford, CT, with a preference to the 20's over the 30's, actually)
Of the four listed above, each one has a following that thinks those mags are the best.
PMAGs are the standard, make no doubt about it, but why they are the standard makes for an interesting debate in some circles. They market more, they get more exposure, they come as original equipment on more rifles which helps get yet more exposure, etc.
I have not personally used any Lancer mags ye.
However, I bought 3 of the 30 round Lancer mags from Spikes about a week ago at an actual cost of $27 each. Those are the only mags I have ever paid more than $22.50 for
I think being able to see the rounds that are in them is very useful. I like PMAGs with windows, but the 20's don't have windows as an option, and you can't tell EXACTLY how many rounds there are as easily, just really close, and when you are loading/uploading/deloading for stages of a match or whatever, it's nice to be able to tell exactly how many each mag has so you can have the right load for the stage without completely unloading and reloading.
The people who own these mags all swear by them, even on M4C, where Magpul reigns supreme.

Yes, I know.
I wouldn't hesitate to pick up any of the ones I listed above. Just remember Gen2 PMAG 20s are less stellar than the rest.
The NHMTG/Colt mags do not need any special anti-tilt follower or anything, they are good to go as is (especially the 20 rounders!)
Troy and Lancer are both excellent, but less common than the two above.
Any good price on any of those, if and when you are in the market for mags, buy with confidence.

Received today
Complete BCM bolt, which went into my Colt's grip storage as a spare/backup while the PSA C158 HPT/MPI bolt that had been there was moved to the BCM's grip storage. I also crammed a cam pin, firing pin retaining pin, and a pair of earplugs into the grip with the BCM Bolt.
Also 3x 30 round Lancer L5 AWM smoke/translucent mags. Those $20 ones from Spikes that came out to $27 each after shipping that I tried to cancel but it was too late. Oh well. I think they'll be good mags, and being able to count precisely how many rounds are in them will be useful.

Yeah, I'm gonna keep bitching about the 1 hi-cap mag and 100 round per day limit. Sucks ass.
But I now have 4 16 round mags for my XDM and 500 rounds. Just a drop in the bucket compared to where I want to be. I'm working all weekend, so this check will go towards reloading equipment.......or golf clubs.....The hardest part of a zombie apocalypse will be pretending I'm not excited.

Nope, I'm starting from scratch. Been 12+ years since I've reloaded, but back when I did, my friends and I did thousands of rounds every week. I'm going to try and keep everything very simple, very cost effective. The big problem will be finding componants to reload...

FWIW, my LGS has been getting primers in stock more readily, if you're hooked to the computer all day you might catch a website selling them in the Misc Firearms Crew or over on slickguns.com. I just started casting my own bullets recently since buying bullets was a PITA. Several bullet manufacturers are taking orders for bullets, just as long as you're willing to wait 3-4 weeks for cast bullets, or 1-2 months for plates/jacketed bullets, at least for the more popular calibers. What caliber(s) are you going to load?
Do I even lift?
