Dealing with demotivation; my issues

I have no problem finding motivation, no problem in working out and sticking to a diet. I'm not at my goal but I'm pretty close.
The only thing that bugs me is probably having too much knowledge. My brain likes taking something and turning it extremely negative.
For example, I'm naturally endo-meso, my "set-point" would be about 18% bodyfat. Thats proly the highest I've reached. Anyways, I read a lot of articles on leptin and issues concerning fighting ones natural set point. They're usually mostly negative. Thats just one example, there are others.
My issue is that I wish I never read about them; they're constantly in the back of my mind, nagging me. I can deal with any other barriers or hurdles in terms of achieving whatever I set my mind to, but genetic barriers hit me the hardest.
I hope what I'm saying makes sense, and I wonder if anyone else feels the same.
