hey i have a bad cold right now....i know when you are sick rest is the best thing...but i feel like i could lift. but i dont know if i should just take a few days off and wait for the cold to go away or lift anyway. what do you guys do in this situation?

I always lift when I'm sick. Mind you, I havent been sick to hte point of a fever within the last few years. I always seem to have a cold recently ( probably due to over-training ), and I still am able to go all out and preform at my very best. To me, its all about a comfort issue. If youre able to do it, go for it; if not, stay home.
