Indeed. Apologies for my absence as of late. Ive been busy outside of the gym (but still have been getting in my lifts etc.) interviewing amongst other things. This week I accepted a new position flying as a Captain for a different corporate department. It will require us to move (fortunately the position is near my wifes family and TONS of our college friends!), but its a HUGE boost in quality of life. I will have weekends off, lots of time around holidays off, no on-call, sledom ever any overnights, a pension, amazing benefits, company phone/ipad/laptop, and I get to fly in jeans and a company polo Best of all, its a company that loves its flight department, and really takes care of its Pilots and aircraft. They have been around a long time, and are very successful in their industry so it should come with about as much job security as aviation can offer.
Very simple...very relaxed.
I wont be flying the biggest aircraft in the world, nor making the most money...but they met my salary demands, and in aviation that list of things above is worth TONS. There are not many flying jobs where one can say they have weekends and holidays off, arent on call, etc. No more flying through the night!
We are blessed, and damn excited. Now just to move and sell a houseTeam Never Full

Apologies for the strong absence of updates. Suffice to say that Ive got a lot on my plate right now regarding a new job, selling a house, moving, etc. Im still in the gym daily, and still pounding out 5/3/1 BBB. Im hoping once things settle down a bit that Ill get back to logging or start a new log. In the meantime Im continuing to lurk the boards and post in the journals Im following.
