i was wondering if anybody knew of a good recipe that is similar taste to the taste of regular ketchup? reps for good recipes

Why would you want homemade ketchup that tastes like bottled ketchup?
I don't have a specific recipe, but the general method is:
Remove skins & seeds from tomatoes
Remove excess water from tomatoes
Add spices & heat tomatoes (garlic, onion, sugar, pepper, worcestershire, chilis whatever)
Smash
Add vinegar(s)
Reduce to desired thickness
Cool (an ice bath will help you here)
Use/store. Probably good for a week in the fridge or you could pressure can it. Doesn't freeze well.Clear eyes, full heart: can't lose.

Just buy a ketchup with no HFCS and no salt, if you really think regular ketchup is "unhealthy"...
