Hi, I bought the Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard (Double rich chocolate). I noticed white particles in the container mixed with the protein. They're not much, but I'm curious as to what they are? harmful or not? I tried it, It mixed well, Tasted good. Curiosity drives me to this question. Thanks.

Hmm...I've never noticed that before. Maybe you got a bad batch. I got a batch once that smelled really weird ... had a "chemical" smell to it. Made me nervous, so I didn't use it. Tried to send it back, but the company I bought it from (not bb.com) were a-holes about it and wouldn't give me a refund or trade.Originally Posted by nems7

I looked it up and seen it has Acesulfame K in it. I wouldn't come near that stuff.
It would be in the trash if it were mine.
If you must have your drink sweetened look for stevia added to.

It says "acesulfame potassium" then i googled that which came up Acesulfame K.
