Quick question guys. I usually do dips with about 30 lbs extra weight. On the first set i can generally do about 18, by the 2nd - 4th set i can crank out like 20-23. Shouldnt it be the other way around or is the first set just a result of maybe not warming up or something? If its the latter, what is a good way to warm up.

This happens to me with dips sometimes, and it seems to be because of the huge range of motion your shoulder goes through so try stretching out some. But definitely add more weight. Maybe control reps too, instead of going all out every set focus on one pre-set rep count and adjust weight accordingly, then go all out on a latter set.
