    Greetings

I looked all over the site for a introductions thread but couldnt find one or a designated place to put one, so if theres a more appropriate place please feel free to move the thread.

Anyways hello im tony a professional tattoo artist from oklahoma, and ill give a little background on how I came about to be in a position to even be on these boards...

Last dec I got divorced, and went through a horrible depression I barely moved from my moms couch until may when I started working again and got my own place again and in the moving process I realised "wow im really out of shape" so I started slow, riding my bike to work and doing pushups and bicept curls with what seems like tiny weights now (20lbs) at first I could barely do 10 pushups but eventually I was doing 100 every day. Since then ive lost 50lbs but eventually I realised im 6 foot 6 and ima look silly if im just skinny so I decided I need to put on some mass... So now ive been going to the gym for 2 months now and ive gotten stronger but ive gotten smaller cause im losing fat faster now (and thats ok cause I havent seen my abs since I was 7 and im 31 now, and im super close to having abs now)

Recently ive started ON gold standard whey protine, and I can see my body starting to take shape but ive got a long way to go before im totally happy, but I hope to reach them before the next swim season.

Thanks I think the only thing holding me back right now is my muscles are getting stronger faster than my tendons and ligaments so even though I can lift more than what im pushing now I gotta keep an eye on stuff so I dont hurt myself so far ive pissed off at least each shoulder, once and my left elbow area once, no serious injury but enough pain to say "watch it buddy" loud and clear. Plus since im doing this alone im using machines so o dont have to worry about dropoing it on myself but on machines heres what im pushing up

    Decline bench 360 x 8, 270 x 8 x2
    Bench press 220 x 8, 180 x 8 x 2
    Incline press 180 x 8, 140 x 8 x 2
Wide press pretty much same as decline
    Flies machine 140 x 8 x 3
And with curls and stuff im starting with the 45 lb one hand dumbells and going until I burn out at the 25 lb ones...

I do that 3 times a week but I want to trade out the machines for dumbells once a week..

Im still learning stuff and once I can make some friends at the gym I want to switch to using barbells and benches instead of machines but I dunno how the weight will translate..

Oh im also doing dips and a couple variations of pull ups and chin ups 3 times a week
