i'm trying to understand this concept and maybe i'm over thinking it . For the past 2 years i've been on the brodiet and have hated it everyday (chicken,fish,rice,potatos,almonds) same meals day in and day out. Now as far as IFFYM goes from my understanding hit your daily pro/fat and fill the rest as you wish. At 170 lbs i calculated my protein to be 255g thats 170 x 1.5 for fat i got around 68g so as long as i hit those two i can fill the rest with anything.
The past 2 weeks i've been swamped with school with tests and **** so i havent been cooking at all been eating out which sucks but keep it simple right? anyways IIFYM can i eat whatever period as long as i hit my macros ? i understand incorporating chicken and steak and potato is suggested and then add whatever like ice cream and whatever. Basically this week im fcuked and cant cook i plan on eating 2 meals at home and filling the rest in out work. can this be done for a cut or am im not keeping it simple and should resort back to brodiet ?
