    Bench 225 pounds 7 reps good or bad?

    Would like to know if benching 225 pounds 7 reps is good or nothing special? I heard that 90% of people can't do 225 pounds 1 rep.

    Yeah, that's pretty good. Above average, but nothing incredible. GJDM either way.

    A few months ago I could only do 2 reps at 225 but now that I'm eating over 4000 calories a day. I can bench a lot more now but I gain like 15 pounds because of it.

    LOL NO. I weigh about 186 pounds. I use to weigh 165 but I could not gain anymore so I decided to bulk up. The bad thing is that I dirty bulk. :-(

    My friend benched around 240 for reps when he was 17 - but hes a natural beast, dude eats like 6-7k calories a day just from food (never taken any type of supplement, not even a multi lol)
