I'm not talking about the people that won't ADMIT to steroid use, but rather those(NON-pro, and with no plans on competing) that INSIST on being "100% natty, all hard work", when they've cycled a couple of times in the past...or probably still do cycles in between.
No-ones going to discredit their hard work and dedication (well, okay, maybe some of the hard anti-AAS crusaders)
I personally think that whenever obvious juicers preach on and on about being natty, it just distorts the view and gives the n00bs out there an unrealistic image of what's possible.
So, why do hobby lifters lie about juicing?

Why do people lie about juicing, if they're never going to compete anyway?

The only reason I see for it is sponsorship and the facts that it's illegal. I can respect that, however if I had a sponsor and was obviously juicing, I would just choose not to mention it and or deflect/ignore any questions related to it. What pisses me off is the people that act as if these sponsored athletes are lying about their use, they are too ****ing stupid to realize that everyone with half a brain knows these guys are juicing and knows why they can't openly admit it, other than themselves.
