Read about this a while back, but only just recently decided to try it.

Basically, it's an extreme cut where you eat drastically (and by drastically I mean 2k+ calories) under maintenance for a single week, with minimal training to conserve muscle mass. The diet consists of alternating casein shakes and BCAA drinks, plus electrolyte replenishment, a multivitamin and Omega 3s, for a total of around 500-750 calories a day. At the end of the week, you do a standard carb refeed, a little high on the calories side. That's all there is to it.
So has anyone tried this? It was only published a couple weeks ago, so I highly doubt many have, but I'm curious nonetheless.
I'll let you gents know how it goes.

It's all curiosity man, I just wanna see what the hell this guy was thinking and whether it works. I'm not planning on arguing with you, we both know you'd take that one easy. Did I mention lower training intensity as opposed to no training at all?
Pretty drastic example, but some American military personnel have demonstrated that it's possible to maintain muscle mass under torture conditions. What I'm trying is nowhere near. Worst comes to worst, my lifts are set back a couple pounds and I'm back on my very slow bulk.Life is good.
