on a serious note. i can't rate any proteins being much better or worse than the others, but i'll give the ones i like best.
1. protein powders... whey/egg/casein/milk. isolates, concentrates, hydrosylates, whatever. They're pure , not too expensive and convenient
2. lean meats. chicken/steak/turkey/ idk, any type of meat that isnt overly fatty
3.fish and seafood. fresh , canned, whatever. tuna, salmon, tilapia, halibut, cod . fatty or lean. good for omega 3's also. clams, scallops. freakin love seafood
4. dairy. whole fat or fat free. lots of forma available. 1% milk is ridiculously versatile if trying to fit into a meals macros. Can work in low carb , or high carb contexts. Cheeses are good too. Greek yogurt is real good.
5. Eggs. they get their own category. Whites, or whole eggs. Quick, easy, ect.
6. Whole grains. YES, i know they are a carb source. Compared to processed carbs (white bread, sugar, ect. ) they actually have a decent amount of protein. Things like quinoa have almost enough protein in them to serve as a sole protein and carb source at the same time in the context of a high carb bulk.
7. nuts. Also, not a true protein source, but they have protein in them, and it helps.
8. Dark green veggies. Another non protein source protein source. But , they do in fact contain protein . A serving of broccoli has 4 g carbs and 2g protein, Not a bad protein content at all for a plant. Spinach is 3g carbs and 3g protein per serving.
9. i cant think of any other foods. srs
10.uhhhh
