is this deadlift good for a girl?

yes but ditch the straps. Bring your feet slightly in and your hands slightly out. Looks like your hands are in the way when you start to pull.

In regular girl-land, it's good. In powerlifting-girl-land, it's okay.

You loose your hip position in the start. The rise up a little before you the bar moves off the ground. Start bracing harder with your abs and getting some tension in your hamstrings and MIDDLE back before you actually intiate the pull. Other than that and some other little form issues, this is a pretty awesome f*cking deadlift in my opinion.

I couldn't pay attention to anything except your legs, and they look good.

Good strength but form needs work. You have 30-40# more in the tank with some tweaks

You got a nice body. Nice lift.

The fact that your deadlifting is already great. I think like 5% of the people at my gym deadlift and 1-2% of the girls at my gym deadlift AND you pulling more than twice your own weight which puts you somewhere in like...0.5% population of the girls that deadlift. Safe to say you probably deadlift more than 90% of the guys and girls at my gym. =/

^This here. When your hips rise first, it's causing your weight to bias forward bringing you onto your middle foot/balls of your feet. This is also what's making that lockout difficult and your feet to shift slightly. Lose the straps. Personally I think Nike Free's(if that's what you're wearing) are too soft for deadlifting, makes keeping tight difficult.
Other than that and a slight stance/grip width change others mentioned, that's a strong lift.Squat: 230kg, 245kg(wraps)

Hey Rachael,
Nice lift! Try doing it overhand/underhand, widen your grip and ditch the straps. Is that your PR? I think you've got a lot left for more, you might want to incorporate some rack pulls. What else are you working on?WARNING: This post may contain material offensive to those who lack wit, humor, common sense and/or supporting factual or anecdotal evidence.
