There is no reason that they should not be knowledgeable and educated about something they are protesting about. If you want to complain about something, you should have done your research. OBVIOUSLY it's expected that Schiff wins, mostly because a lot of what he says is just flat out correct, but there were only one or two people in that vid that appeared even remotely educated/knowledageable. I'm not sure how edited it was; Schiff doesn't seem like the kind of guy to repeatedly edit things out just to make his point.

That's like saying Perry debating Romney isn't really a fair debate, because Romney has done it before and is significantly smarter than Perry. That's Perry's problem IMO, not Romney's (protester's problem, not Schiff's).

How much of 14.2 billion does a CEO and shareholders need? Also they didn't only NOT open a factory, they shipped jobs overseas. Why would you need to lay off 16k employees, and ship jobs overseas when you make that much money? Because its greed, power, and profit. Well, that's exactly the problem. These people think they know what's best when they are ignorant and uneducated. How can you protest when you have no clue about the reality of what you're protesting about? They have this idea that the rich don't pay tax and don't realize that if they are taxed even more they will simply stop hiring and working. Schiff is telling them the truth. Out of the three who are still working in the engineering field, (civil, electrical and mechanical), two of them hate their job and use up all of their vacation time each year.

No, he is supporting the 99% and repeatedly explaining to them how all of this stuff actually works. The sad reality is that a lot of the 99% idiots are just repeating things they've read on the internet. Think about this logically. This guy doesn't sit on his ass on the internet all day. He actually knows what he is talking about because he does his research. He even tried to warn others about this happening, but the government did it, anyways. The proletariat are too busy working. While I agree with them on many things, most of the people vacationing in Zuccotti Park fit the definition of the bourgeois class to a tee.

Well I am heading out but the idea that his making $100 million is creating more jobs than if he had made $50 million and the remaining $50 million were distributed in some other way. Well the reality is exactly like he said, he is GREEDY. Corporations without regulations WILL ship jobs overseas, WILL minimize payroll here, WILL dump in our waters, WILL pollute our air, WILL take advantage of workers here etc. In theory people should stop buying from those companies, but in reality life isn't so cut and dry. Just look at any myriad of documentaries on corporations to get the idea, Gasland or The Corporation are a good way to start.

He is operating on the logical fallacy that everybody is just like him, greedy. Some people just want enough money to get by and enjoy life with a reasonable amount of effort. We used to be able to do that, now jobs that were once well paying with benefits and pensions are being stripped and those at the top are getting richer.
