Even murderous tyrants and other detestable people? I'm not looking for a debate. I'm just curious about the why.

As far as my own views are concerned, I see destruction as a processual tool for creation. Sometimes it totally sucks, and at other times it is completely appropriate. And again, I don't posit this view to invoke malaise; I'm doing it out of honesty and exchange.

Where did I do that? The quote in question communicated that the poster thought that ANY human life lost should not be heralded. I did not mean to compare the two as being qualitatively equal in any sense. Perhaps I should be more forthcoming.

My educational background is in anthropology, and I am always interested in learning the meanings and contexts that inform peoples opinions, especially when they are divergent from my own, in situations that are informed heavily by cultural consideration. I will not pass any sort of moral judgment regardless in this thread since death is dealt with in myriad ways.

meh that's not going to do that trimspa **** much good. But she was into drugs and everything, could barely talk in public. I thought she was the most annoying and disgusting person before, not that anyone deserves to die, the story just doesn't bother me

No worries, man. I try very hard not to be argumentative, although my writing often comes off as stoic. I am simply an inquisitive person, and far prefer discussing things than doing battle on a medium where so much sensory information will be lost.

And i do think the world is better without people like her. She is a waste of a person. Led a totally shallow existance and didnt do anything positive for anyone but her self. I really think this is a sad situation. And to all those people out there being so cold hearted on such a topic...What have you been thru in your life that would make you contain such hate and evil in your hearts to have the nerve to write so coldly about another human being?
