Kris Gethin 12 week transformation - Strange routine

Its always said to follow a training routine for at least 4 weeks before changing the exercises, but in the Kris Gethin 12 week transformation , it seems he always did different exercises in every single workout, although was similar muscle group, but still different exercises to accomplish the goals.

Is it good to follow or something just as another technique to try if it suits?

Changing the lifts you do can be effective in gaining strength quicker.

When you train your muscles different ways it helps your CNS activate different parts of the muscles so it becomes better at recruiting the muscles you haven't due to other exercises favoring one part of the muscle over the other.

ex: doing side lateral raises only will make any attempt to do front lateral raises harder comparatively over working both to teach your CNS to activate the muscle for both.
