Situation: mid-30s, have had arthritis in all joints since childhood and finally past some arm injuries/surgeries and looking to really go heavy and make big gains (get them back) in the next month. Taking quality Creatine and Whey Protein post-workout along with the usual vitamins/joint supps. I'm already well-defined and cut but want to increase size as much as I can, mainly upper body. Doing bench, deadlifts, various dumbbell work (currently using 50lb dbs), a ton of push-ups, dips and pull-ups separate from lifting workouts, crunches/ab work.
I checked out some reviews for a few products to take pre-workout. Considered Jack3d but I am concerned about the many users going limp and the wife has been all over me lately. I drink plenty of black coffee anyways. I've tried NOS in the past without seeing much.
I considered Powerfull but it seems to boost sex and sleep more than workouts.
Another option was MyoTest and I nearly picked it up but the manager at Vitamin Shoppe stated he has not heard much feedback on that product.
I asked about test boosters and he steered me towards one that was $43.33 for 20 days, a little more than I want to commit since I have a couple of kids to make my priority. He also suggested one that he claims he had used and it works.
Nature's Plus - T Male Testosterone Boost
It was $21.99 for 60 caps, serving size is 2 a day.
I am going to double up the doses for a week then go down to the recommended. Has anyone else tried this product? It really sounds promising. There are not many reviews online but all of them are positive. Has Tribulus Terrestris for test boosting so I do understand it may not provide an immediate boost but should kick in after a few weeks.
I'll keep you updated with my findings/results.
