Ignore the anatomy. Memorize every last letter of the fitness assessments and muscle imbalances. Memorize the names of each exercise and which group they belong to. Don't bother memorizing any of the formulas for VO2 max or things like that.
Have fun!

great advice if you plan to work at la fitness for your entire career as a pt. no wonder so many pt's have no clue about the muscles they are having their clients work, or how to optimize fat loss through an increase in vo2 max + mitochondrial content.

wow really? I don't need to focus much on the anatomy? ok. does the book actually go over exercises? or should i do that here? well I'll probably do that here as well xD hahaha. well noted either way.

Read the whole book once. Summarize it once. Read and fully understand chapters 5,6,12,17, and 18. Read the entire book one more time and you will be good. Know the exercises, which phases they are used in, how many reps, tempos, sets for each phase. That's what I did and I passed. It took me about 20 hours to study or so.

I AM a Mass Machine
Im studying too. But I don't agree with the "ignore the anatomy" part. PT is more than just set and reps its about the human body and transforming it. In my opinion that's what separates the passionate people and the "oh I have a license" I believe in the more knowledge you have the more effective you can be when explaining to someone something or looking at how they react to different stuff. Personally I plan on. Going through the whole book not just going over specific parts so I can pass a stupid test and get a piece of paper saying I got certified. The details I think is what separates crappy trainers to the ones who change peoples lives
