If you had pinched a nerve, you would definately know about it.
It would also refer. By this i mean, depending at what level of your cervical vertebrae you pinched, would determine where the pain would refer to. The most common place is down you arm, since the brachial plexus (bunch of nerves that supply your arm), arise from several cervical vertebrae.
The pain would be quite intense. If you are compressing the nerve, then you would be developing numbness, and pins and needles sensations.
Conclusion, it is more than less a muscular injury.
Try some hot/cold therapy on your neck.
But as mentioned, if the pain does not subside within a few days, do go see a doc, or chiro, or physio.

how long have you had this pinched nerve feeling?
"My problem is that my parents are here and so is my brother. It will look kind of suspicious with me walking into the bathroom with a frozen chicken breast. We have no salmon here either, but I can get the salmon fillets this weekend and stick it in my ass on Monday morning when everyone is gone.
I don't mind sticking the fish in my ass (no homo) its just getting it past my parents that's going to be the delay."

Sounds like some pinched cartilage and/or a locked facet joint! Also known as a wry neck! Anit-inflammatory medication, posture exercises, Mc Kenzie exercises and perhaps mobilisation by a physio/chiro should fix it. Then learn about some neck stabilisaing exercises!
The science is out there!
