Congratulations Meg! You have made some huge progress since your last show. Could you post a comparison picture of each show side by side? :-)
Saturdays food looks amazing... the only foods i crave are sirloin and salmon steaks with potatoes. If I could eat 2700 calories every day my diet would look like that haha

Unfortunately it wasn't as glamorous as it may seem. This was all shoveled down cold(a shame they can't set up microwaves at these things)....I would've much preferred a steaming fresh off the griddle waffle slathered in butter and mable syrup....but I guess cold and spongy was better than no waffleComing out of "retirement"...Meg is training for a Figure competition...again!!!

You look great at both, but you look very relaxed and natural the second go around! You can def see the work you have put into building your back. You can tell that you have busted your butt practicing and are able to pose effortlessly. I saw the photos from the comp on NPCnewsonline and the girl that took overall did not pose nearly as well. Either that or she just never got a great picture.
WHat is your plan of attack btwn now and June?!
P.S. That was my FAVE suit on Vizion Wear!!

I’ll likely just hang out around maintenance until I start dieting down for the June contest. I want to maintain no more than 10# from stage weight and I’ve already put back on 5# from just the few days of eating whatever after the competition, so it’s really not that much wriggle room when you think about it. It’s sad that as much as 5# is simply just water and glycogen and even that takes at least a week to shed when beginning to diet down again
Today I’m on my own for shoulder workout so we’ll see how it goes with all these yummy carbs I’ve had to fill me up and out. I’m looking terribly flat from not having lifted a weight in a little over 12 days. So ready to get back and hit it hard, set some PRs while I’m getting near/above maintenance calories I enjoyed myself a little too much this weekend, the weather was amazing so it was only appropriate to enjoy mimosas for brunch (on the patio) and beers for dinner (on the patio)….Coming out of "retirement"...Meg is training for a Figure competition...again!!!

So last week I was supposed to be “taking it easy” and “resting”…so that meant I got in a few good afternoon runs during what is most likely the best weather we will have all year…

…DIET…
I haven’t really decided what I want to do with the diet. I was initially thinking something like a targeted keto somewhere at or just below maintenance. I don’t think I want to do cyclical because I want my carbs and to go 5 days without…I just don’t think that would provide the flexibility I want.
This morning I got to thinking about Lean Gains and IF….still at or just below maintenance….decisions…
Anywho, I’m still being a little lax on the diet, although I’m cooking more foods I normally wouldn’t eat on a “diet” I’m right at maintenance and still getting a good 150g of protein. Right now I’d say I’m eating about 80% of my “diet” and enjoying a nice cooked dinner. My goal is to have two free dinners a week and eat the typical diet the other 5 nights. But right now the BF is working days so I’m taking advantage of being able to cook for him since we typically get only one night a week together for something like this. I’ve forgotten how much I do enjoy cooking…. Last night I made “Adult Beans and Weenies” hehe. Essentially it was baked beans with 93% lean ground beef and bacon…YUM. I originally thought about using link sausage for the “weenies” but decided to go a little leaner with the beef. I also made roasted acorn squash with a brown sugar and maple syrup glaze. The maple syrup was the wedding gift from my friend’s wedding up in Massachusetts last October…very tasty stuff.
