What all do you think is the best Mass Gainer powder out there? Yes, you can pack on some solid weight through proper nutrition, but I am looking for an easier boost in my daily intake of calories, carbs, protein, and other nutrients.
What is the best mass gainer? Preferably one that is good "bang for your buck" and includes many servings, quality product, and at a (hopefully) cheap price.
Please go into detail with your responses.
Thank you for taking the time to read/respond!

Agreed. Don't be an ass because your bigger than him bro. He didn't say anything worth that kind of response. Ya he needs to gain weight, and I would agree that 8 lbs in two months would be ok for like... Me... But at his weight he just needs to keep packing it on. That being said your doing fine bro, keep It up.
OP- true it's easy and better nutrition wise to make your own, but I too share your love of the convenience of pre made mass gainers. I like serious mass so far. It has a ton of calories and not much sugar compared to some others, but I think I might take a look at MHP since I've seen a lot of mention on it."Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good." (Romans 12:21 ESV)

I was simply pointing out the irony of someone who clearly doesn't know much about putting on weight recommending a "weight gainer". Also 8lbs in 2 months isn't that great for someone under 175lbs, and I'm pretty sure it wasn't all "lean muscle".
Also oats and peanut butter taste amazing with milk/protein.

I could know all there is to know about Mark's Starting Strength, and only bench 120 3x5.
How many offensive line coaches look like they could hold back a professional athlete?
Point being: I don't have to be living proof that ****in* science works. Take a look at MHP Up Your Mass profile. It has great ingredients, including oats. Read the "supplement war" thread. You'll see everyone saying Up Your Mass, Serious Gains, Universal Real Gains, and Cytosport are ALWAYS the most praised. Hell a guy in THIS THREAD weighing in at TWO HUNDRED AND FIFTY POUNDS says he's purchased Up Your Mass, will continue buying it, and loves it.
Of course FOOD is the best gainer. Nobody will argue that. After food, self-made shakes will always come second. It's cheaper, it'll probably taste such as good as you'd want it, and you know the ingredients through and through. But past that, there are mass gainers. He asked what the best mass gainers are. I posted my opinion based on the hours I've spent researching it.
Good day sir.★★★ Thick. ★★★
★★★ Solid. ★★★
★★★ Tight. ★★★

He's gaining at a pound a week....sounds like a good clean slow bulk to me. Isn't that what most people aim for anyways who still want to stay relatively lean and bulk? 500 over maintainance....3500 cal surplus a week = 1 lb....probably 60-75% muscle tissue growth rest being fat. Thats exactly what ive been doing ever since i started at 118 lbs. You gonna say i dont know what im doing either cause im under your magic 175 number?
*Edit - And before you do the math on my join date to weight and gain ratio...ive been sick 4 times for weeks...lost weight..and had a 2 month off period from a shoulder injury. so technically if i kept it id be up in the 190's lolLast edited by xHylios55x; 10-30-2011 at 02:45 PM.

cytogainer tastes great but its mostly maltodextrin i think
MHP up your mass tastes good and has great carb sources which is what you should look at in a gainer, as they are mostly loaded with cheap carbs to "up the calories" they will throw fancy carb names in there to throw you off but in the end thats what they are IMOSig line can't be a novel

Scivation just released a Mass gainer that has a good and solid profile on top of very good macros.
Some highlights:
High-quality milk protein isolate sourced from grade-A skim milk that has undergone a low heat process to maintain protein purity. This is some of the highest quality milk protein on the market
• Low-glycemic, insulin-stabilizing carbs, predominantly from organic brown rice and organic fractionated rice oligodextrins, which also provide a plethora of health benefits
• A blend of healthy fatty acids derived from such sources as fish oil, sunflower oil, golden flax seed oil, and coconut oil, which include Omega-3 fatty acids (DHA and EPA) and medium-chain triglycerides but contain only two grams of saturated fat per serving
• 500 mg of betaine anhydrous
The macros are around 8-9g of fat, 45g of carbs, and 32g of protein. What is great is if you are looking for a leaner MRP you could dose the gainer in half and then add in a scoop of protein to knock down some carbs and fat to keep the protein elevated. Also you can always add your own things such as mixing in milk, adding Peanut butter, or throwing some oatmeal in there as well to boost your intake.
Something to consider!
Price is depending on bb.com as they are getting it in their facility very soon it has shipped to them! So when they put it up it will be THEIR price.
The creatine is most likely being pulled from the product due to getting adequate creatine from NOVEM which is stacked with xtend, this will be used when a whole food meal is not possible or in a pinch for a quick shake.
