...that said "i ****ed (girlfriend) while she was in town for fall break...just thought you should know what kind of girl she is." I've only been in a relationship with this girl for a month or so, BUT she has told me that her ex-boyfriend was insane. She said that they broke up because he cheated on her. They broke up 6 months ago.
So I called her and she was like "i don't know why he is trying to ruin my life...he just hates to see me happy...yada yada yada...promise me you wont respond..."
I don't really know what to think. What should I think, RH? Haha. I don't know. He could of been just trying to **** things up or being serious or both.
She is 19. I am 21. She dated this kid for 3 years. Fall break was a week ago and she went to her hometown, which is a few states away.

time and time again i've seen guys ask the misc a question and get advice. the person never follows it and comes back saying "you were right." I told myself I would never do it. So I want to get a few more opinions before i do anything. You guys think I should confront her about it in person or is it pointless?

I mean its extremely fishy that she doesn't want you to contact him after that, and the possibility of a girl cheating on her 1 month bf with her ex of 3 years is highly likely. And girls ALWAYS say their ex was crazy.
No way to guarantee that she cheated on you but i would say probably 90% chance she did, 10% chance dude truly is insane ex bf.
*edit* Oh and she's 19?? make that 95% chance she did, 5% crazy dude

When you see her in person, tell her you need to see her phone. If she puts up any resistance, end it right there and never talk to her again.
If she lets you, text the ex from her phone, "Why did you tell (your name) we had sex when I was home? I don't consider that cheating, and now he's suspicious."
His response to a text like that should give it away if he's lying or telling the truth. 90%+ chance he's telling the truth. It's not like the relationship ended because she cheated, so he shouldn't be bitter. He was the one who cheated.

I don't know your girl, but I just wanna lay out the pertinent facts of this story in a simplified manner:
- she's 19
- she dated her ex for 3 years (most likely residual feelings)
- she went to hometown for break for a week... where he is.
- he randomly contacts you out of nowhere saying they fcked and he did it in a non-crazy, mature way.
- first thing she says when you confront her is to promise you won't contact him anymore.
Now take a look at that.... read it a couple times if you have to.
Odds are not in your favor brah. What's more likely... your girl's ex went out of his way to lie and contact you or your 19 y/o girlfriend went home on break and hooked up with her recent ex of 3 years?
If I was a betting man I'd put money down that they hooked up, after fcking he wanted to start things up again, she said no because she's got a new b/f, and he gets pissed and realizes she's a whore and tells you about it to both screw her over and give you a heads up.

just ask her in real life. she'll be defensive and indignant - don't get riled up by the way she acts, just stay calm. if she says something that doesnt make sense given the situation, call her out on it; repeat.
you'll be able to tell.
sounds like she cheated; may as well check her out IRL - can't hurt.fukn Brozart

Women can and will justify anything after the fact. He has no reason to go out of his way to lie to you, a person in another state he will likely never see. She has every reason to lie.
Dump her and move on with your life brah. Don't waste another minute on the likes of her."Johan tells me that your luggage, is the luggage of the poor."

Pretty simple, if you trust her 100%, don't worry about it and don't respond, you're a bigger man than he is. However, since you posted this thread, it seems like you may have doubts, try to check her cell phone and FB account to see if she's been in contact w/him. If she has, that's a deal breaker.

lol @ "promise you wont respond"
Bitch is lying. I'd put money on it.We have enslaved the rest of the animal creation, and have treated our distant cousins in fur and feathers so badly that beyond doubt, if they were able to formulate a religion, they would depict the Devil in human form.

he is telling the truth and yeah he could possibly enjoy messing things up but then again maybe he just wanted to give you the heads up so you dont waste your time.
he would have no reason to lie and she shouldnt be so worried about you responding..if it was me and i know i didnt do anything i would careless if you responded

i like her dramatic reply. "he's trying to ruin my life". please. dramatics from a girl = she's lying.
if she didn't do sh*t she would've just said it's a lie and moved on. people usually get upset over rumors like that when there's some kind of truth to them.
anyway...i'd say get rid of the ho before she gives you somethin', OP. srsly.

This makes sens. But also, we know what kind of dick/psycho moves people and exes are capable of. The guy HAS a reason to lie, to make you go ape**** and mess up your gf's stability. But at the same time... Many women are backstabbing cheating kunts just like the rest of human kind so...

I won't throw her under the bus OP, but this is your call.
He came off like a dick by telling you, and then putting you on ignore. Why would he care to have you not be able to respond to him. Seems weird.
Your GF is also weird by saying "don't contatct him". If she cared about this, she would've moved on, but then again she would've handled it differently.
I still agree with John Galt. She probably won't let you do it lol, but it's pretty accurate. Just to see if he responds, it pretty much gives you any evidence. Fcuk that, even check if she has this ex in her phone and FB. If she has means to contact him, she still can be.++ Positive Crew ++
