Ok clearly half of you guys don't know what the **** you're talking about. Colostrum is the milk from a cow that is produced in the first 24hrs after giving birth to a calf. A calf doubles its weight in the first week of being born because it gets rich nutrients from the colostrum.
Colostrum is pretty good to supplement with if your going to stay natural but it is expensive. It is proven to raise your HGH levels slightly but I've used it and it only helped a bit with lean building i wouldn't bother if you're bulking.
It is pretty expensive seeing as you have to take 50g a day spread out to start to get decent effect.
Value vs Money? Not worth it if you compare it to test or steroids but colostrum hasn't got any side effects and its completely natural. Also it tastes like **** ahaha.
Id only recommend it if you're cutting or lean building, forget it if you're bulking you can get the same muscle gains from clean quality eating. When you're having trouble, seek help. When you hit a plateau, Address your weaknesses. When you have left in the tank, Push that extra rep. When you get knocked down, Get right back up!
Eat Clean, Train hard, Stay flexible, Stay Motivated, set realistic goals and you will succeed.

I have been reading about Colostrum for a little while now and have been curious about trying it.
When you say, "Colostrum is pretty good to supplement with if your going to stay natural but it is expensive. It is proven to raise your HGH levels slightly but I've used it and it only helped a bit with lean building i wouldn't bother if you're bulking.

I am curious if there is a certain type you are referring to? What I am finding is, you can go online and find it at various places and here at BB.com, they have NOW Colostrum for under $20. That is 500mg per capsule, recommended one to two capsules a day. So, are you saying, to gain any benefit, someone would want to take over 2 or 3 times the recommended dose?Last edited by lsmo_guy; 11-01-2011 at 09:55 AM.

Ahahahahha, It naturally raises your HGH levels and it is NOT synthetic, so yes it is considered considered natural.
Mostly people who Bulk don't worry about added fat, lean building means to maintain the same fat% but build muscle through clean eating and knowing how your body responds to food. But some people don't understand such things so there's no use having your say as people (who think they know what they're talking about) just comment with random garbage.
Just quickly too the guy who thinks i write nonsense, most of you are the misinformed dumb ****s that don't even know what Bovine Colostrum is or what it does that probably don't think of alternatives to steroids. Not my fault i read credible studies and have knowledge about the sport. So how about you give Leonard some proper advice and not spam his post, he wants help not people talking about human breast milk. I may not be the most experienced person here but after looking most of the peoples profiles here, you need to read up on some stuff because it could help you get into shape not just be bulked year round. Im offering advice, so comment somewhere else and grow up.
Im not offended at all, just sick and tired of going to forums and giving a REAL reply to people that want help and getting people like this just spamming posts with stupid pointless unwanted crap. When you're having trouble, seek help. When you hit a plateau, Address your weaknesses. When you have left in the tank, Push that extra rep. When you get knocked down, Get right back up!
