    Keto diet help!!

    hi guys,
im 18 years old, height = 185cm, weight = 178 pounds. ( i was 200 pounds about 3 months ago ). i stopped lifting and focusing more on crossfit training and burning calories to get lean for summer hopefully and i have done alright so far.
i just need some advice, i started a keto diet yesterday i want to loose another 10 pounds hopefully because i havent got anywhere for the last couple of weeks so i am keen to try something new. I was wondering if having 1 cheat meal or cheat day a week will in the long term help speed up my metabolism, does the zig zag effect work while on a keto diet? (zig zag effect being having a cheat meal or day to trick your body and slow your metabolism down for that one day to in return speed it back up to start a new week and build the metabolism back to its peak) i am just confused will a cheat meal or day speed my metabolism up while on keto? and if so how should i go about my cheat meal or day?

    To answer you question:
Keto does not include so called cheat meal. Depending on the type of keto you might need to carb-up after a couple of weeks.
During this carb up fase, some people mess up because they do not know how & when to carb-up.

On the other hand. If your goals is to lose FAT. Eat 500 calories at a deficit.
Calculate your macros accurately (BMR + activities + whatever factors) then substract 500 calories.
lets say you need 3000 calories a day just eat 2500 calories.
Do not be scared of carbs. they do not bite and they are not evil.
And DO NOT stop lifting if you do not wanna lose muscles.

    hope this helps.
