    Unusual leaning down

    Hey there!
my husband has been taking my bf% with the seven site calipers and when we took it last week, my triceps and my suprailiac went down, while everything else stayed the same. He said it was unusual and when I asked my friend who owns metroflex in houston, he said it was unusual too.

Can anyone explain why and what that means for my fat loss?

How often have you both been measuring your bodyfat through this method? If you're both starting out then it would vary wildly at first until you actually get the hang of doing it properly. If your husband knows what he is doing, however well I'm not sure what to tell you except that you really shouldn't put too much emphasis on body fat %, just gauge your results in the mirror. The only truly accurate way to measure your bodyfat is during an autopsy, and I doubt anyone wants to go that route. =)

he is a personal trainer, and has been one for more than 15 years. So he knows how to do it. W had been taking it for 3 weeks. And I had been using the mirror for over a year and not really gotten any where. Having a number really helps.

I would say you just lose fat faster in those areas. I know my arms and back cut up well before my thighs and lower abs.

    That or user error.
    I'm small but mighty.
