What others may think of something such as this, {10/24- Reuters-the Vatican specifically called for the establishment of a supernational authority with worldwide scope and universal jurisdiction to guide economic policies & decisions !} kinda interesting to me,---------------------- also there was a little discussed article about what happened in Louisiana recently, the state legislature passed a BILL {hb195} signed by Jindal that says "That anyone buying or selling any second hand goods {cannot use cash in the transaction} ", ya know legal tender for all debts public, & private-----------just curious as to what others takes are such things, not trying to stir the pot, these actions are not ficticious they are actual

Well, theocracies work so well in the Middle East .... I guess it just makes sense that we should implement one worldwide.
what happened in Louisiana recently, the state legislature passed a BILL {hb195} signed by Jindal that says "That anyone buying or selling any second hand goods {cannot use cash in the transaction} ", ya know legal tender for all debts public, & private-It takes a big man to cry, but it takes a bigger man to laugh at that man.

I think it's a horrible idea (and I am a Christian).
Look at the EU. They combined their currency and in doing so, chained themselves to the lowest common demoninator in the EU - Greece. So, instead of having a localized crisis in Greece, we now have a chain of EU banks and governments exposed and in trouble.
As for the Lousianna law, which was approved by Republicans and Democrats, all I can say is "wow, that's idiotic".Last edited by jnwaco; 10-24-2011 at 12:46 PM.

Even if the vatican isn't in charge of it, and it's not religious in nature, it's still a horrible idea.
What was the purpose of this bill? Taxes?

It is exactly what the article indicates, it`s not an implication, it is a stated goal and your a decent person with savvy & common sense as well as insight, isn`t there a certain book that indicates "that no man might buy or sell, save he have the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name " or that since the devil masquerades as an angel of light that " it is not suprising then, if his servants masquerade as servants of righteousness"

I cannot state for certain, but So many things are happening in such a rapid fashion, seeing this article was kind of startling to me to say the least as well as the other one about Louisiana, I just cannot explain them in a normal fashion ! some things and I try not to be a fool, just hit you square in the face and coincide & confirm with what I believe & have read

I was curious about the Louisiana Bill and had some time so I went at some local sources. Apparently it is for second hand stores not for all second hand sales. The idea behind it is that people were fencing stolen stuff at an alarming rate, especially from houses (I assume abandoned ones from Katrina, but that is my assumption). The law requires check or money order or electronic transactions which would be more traceable. I understand the idea, but I agree it will be overturned with a quickness and seems like a waste of time to me.

You are absolutely correct in that we all are entitled to our opinions, that is essentially why I posted the original article, "what others may think of this"---seeds are planted constantly and they bear "fruit".
There is a myriad of information just like a tsunami, I think some is valid most is crap, but there are certain things that just raise an eyebrow and too me make me think hmmm, I always fall back on what I believe though and it takes the moment of angst away immediately knowing who the ultimate victor is, and that "our struggles are not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, and authorities, against the powers of the dark world, and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms---Keep in mind I am not railing against anynoe i.e. RCC, just pointing some things out, interesting to me as well as asking opinions !Last edited by thomashenry; 10-24-2011 at 02:22 PM.

It will be overturned.
Living in Louisiana, it is disconcerting to come to work in the morning and find that your business has no electricity because crack heads came last night and stole all the copper wire and sold it for cash. The intent was honest, but maybe it would have been better to say you either need some kind of proof of ownership, or a reasonable waiting period to get paid.
