Hi all,
Just wondering.... does anyone here carries around or wears something to keep them motivated? - a ring, bracelet, necklace, key chain, picture, etc.
Post 'em up.... should be interesting

I have a picture of me and my son that i made with this quote above it...
"Every father should remember that one day his son
will follow his example instead of his advice"
and this one below it
"I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me"
This helped me not only quit smoking after 12 years of smoking but also keep me eating healthy and working out.Need some Motivation?

LOL worked for me as well. When I was diagnosed with elevated sodiuim, elevated heart rate, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and type 2 diabetes I put on one of those cheap a$$ rubber bracelets that says celebrate life. It reminds me of why I workout 5-6 days a week and eat like a champ instead of like I'm going to the electric chair. That was 16 months and 95 pounds ago and it hasn't left my wrist one time. I guess I'm obsessed! LOL

When I lift on max effort days I wear my favorite Tank top, gotta have it on every time I beat a PR Also I listen to one of 2 songs when attempting a PR...either Praise or Waffle by Sevendust..when u stick with one go to "max" song it helps.
As far as motivation when Im outside of the gym I keep pregnancy pictures on my fridge, and periodically I lift the 75lb weight at the gym to remember how it felt to be over 200lbs.Elitefts rox!!

I have my cross necklace for everyday life that comes in very handy when I am working out because it gives me a good place to keep my wedding ring, that way it is never away from me. I take my ring pretty seriously, haha. I have some rosemary beads that were given to me a day after columbine happend hanging on my gym wall in my house, they were on Rachel Scott's car. Those remind to take everyday and make the most of it. Enjoy life and love what you do. One last thing that I have is my Livestrong bracelet. I have been wearing it for about 13 years now(been replaced a few times).

lol not for me..I would've started earlier when it was only like 5 or 10lbs. Keto is motivating for me. I feel a difference in my energy and everything compared to any regular diet.
MP3 player..certain songs will motivate me although I get sick of them and rotate music often so it's nothing in particular. But that is probably everyone. I should keep progress pics on my Ipod or something if I get that "it's not working" or "taking too long" feeling.
My Beagle is motivating. Not exactly an object but he keeps walks interesting. Never know what he's going to hunt down or stick his face in and find. He sticks his head in a rock/brick wall and pulls out a frog. On trails, he will pick up a scent of horse crap and tracks that down. He's just a fun dog so it's not boring or like a chore. The better in shape I get back in..the more fun he has. It would suck if I ever have kids and can't even keep up with a Beagle but that won't be anytime soon so it's not like I didn't have a few years to stay fat.
I find Timex watches with chronograph or timer alarms motivating.like watching the minutes add up for something like walking around a 3 floor mall just go to to a couple of stores compared to sitting at a desk all day at work.1k.
I rape back faster if you paste a link in rape box.

Choker of Metallurgy and Void. Keeps my anger/rage levels rising magnetically while I work out, so I stay pissed off, and use my hatred to fuel me. When I'm done with my workout, I feel all better!
