I feel kinda disgusted for letting myself go like this after eating clean and getting in 1800-2000 cal/day.
Oh well, tmw in a new day just means I got to lift harder.
Well here it is:

Do yourself a favor and plan a controlled (4-5k) pig out day every couple of weeks. It's good for the body and mind, especially as you get leaner.
I would chalk today up as a win, really. You did more good than harm.Don't Drink, Don't Smoke, Watdo you do?

"Everyone thinks they're on their way to single digit body fat as soon as they see a blurry four-pack in the right lighting.Your final body weight at 5-6% will be a lot less than what you think.Talk to me again when you get in contest shape." I'd be willing to say that 95% of people on this forum accomplish nothing in years, don't be one of those people. It's sad, they seem to have the knowledge many don't but can't utilize it.

Well, 10k cals in a single day is really extreme. The amount of work you'd have to do in order to balance that week out would be rough. My bad days don't even reach 5k and I compensate the next day with extended fasting and crazy amounts of cardio, today is a good example of that. Ran 10 miles, walked a couple, rode a stationary cycle for an hour, shadow boxed for 30 minutes and still haven't eaten yet, I think it's safe to say I hit a good deficit. My stomach hasn't STFU for the past hour now.

When i was cutting (both times) i ate the same stuff every single day, and each time i did that i only gained half a pound at the end of the week,
and not doing anything extra like sessions of cardio, i think 6000 of that just doesnt get stored otherwise id have gained like 2 pounds lol
My woman friend who has lost a ton of weight did that stuff too and reported similar results. My hat is off to you for being able to run so far, my shins are pretty beat after 5kThere is always someone less fortunate, with real hunger, with real adversity, who made something of themselves. What is your excuse?

Was expecting binge. Treat yourself every month or so brah one day isn't going to kill your gainz. I had Roscoe chicken and waffles yesterday. Instead of waffle it was two eggs and chicken breast. 1st cheat in a month and I was still at a 1000 cal deficit. Love cardio to get that 3k-4k maintenance
1k+ 100% of the time

Most of us tend to overestimate the effect of cheating because we fear fat. For the past 4 days, I was on vacation and I went all out. I ate an entire bag of doritos withinin 2 days, ate fast food once or twice a day, drank 30 oz mountain dews twice a day, and shopped at gas stations constantly. I hopped on the scale yesterday, expecting to have gained 3 pounds, but nope, not even a full pound difference. I look in the mirror and I look just like I did when I left for vacation.
The moral of the story is that 2 weeks or more of diligent dieting can't be ruined over the course of a few days of eating over 1000 more calories than you're used to. As long as the number of days you eat below maintenance is higher than the number of days you cheat, you're probably going to do just fine in the long run.

It might be broscience, but I think once your body gets used to working a certain amount of calories and you shock it with a big cheat day, it goes into overload and dumps a good portion of those calories. Especially the lower in BF you are. So yeah you might eat 10k calories, but in reality you probably poop a whole lot of them right out. I know there have been several times that I cheated with like a 2k calorie meal of burger, fries and milkshake that sent me to the bathroom (full run lol) like 5 minutes after finishing. Now, if you eat that crap everyday, your body gets into a routine of storing them as fat and becomes pretty efficient at that so the fatter you are, the more you are going to store. Which is why it's probably better to not cheat or at least not go over maintenance calories if you have a lot of weight to lose.

Lol. Honestly, I have noticed that trend myself. I also have no scientific basis for that claim, but it doesn't seem like every calorie you consume gets stored. Is there any scientific evidence that not all calories are utilized, and that significant amounts can pass right through us given the right circumstances?
