Any ecoboost owners out there? I've talked to two and I'm trying to get a good idea how the MPG's are holding up. So far, about 16-17 in town and closer to 20 on the highway is what I've seen. Not bad, but should be better imo.
Beware of a car like that that's been modded. Never know what you're getting yourself into. Especially when they start playing with the turbo and tuning. You never know what boost they've been running and for how long. The engine internals could be almost ready to blow up.

Considering that Chrysler rolled the AMC 360 CID, the AMC 4.0L I6, the Cummins 5.9L I6, the AMC 318 CID, the Cummins 6.7L I6 and the TorqueFlite 727, you're going to be hard-pressed to find Mopar owners that aren't Mopar lovers.

those aren't 13" wire wheels, are they? Also, the truck lays out pretty hard. Unfortunately I'm selling it or I'd finish up the work up front to get all of them frame rails ont he ground. There's a LOT of work in that truck.

he handled it a LOT better than I would have. after about 20 seconds in I would have reved the truck up to about 3000 RPMs and started yelling WHAT?!?!? I CAN'T HEAR YOU!

I only made it 45 seconds in. When she said, "gas-guzzling piece of sht" I was thinking of a witty, smart-ass reply about how it's not gasoline powered. But then when she told the wife to "shut the fck up" in front of the kids, I couldn't take it any more. There was a time in this country where you could punch a person square in the mouth for that without reprecussion. We need to bring those days back.

That's exactly what I was thinking, the bigger the puff of black smoke the better. I would have also told her my truck uses fewer resources than her fat ass and ask her to stop driving the price of donuts up.

It's been a long time since I've wanted to punch someone in the face this bad. I sure hope I'd be cooler if I was in that situation but right now I don't think I would have been able to control it, and that says a lot because I don't normally have a temper problem.

If you have $18k, I'd recommend that you save that for college/business use/home purchase/investment. You could buy two older trucks for far less than half that. You'd have a daily, and one to screw around with or even simply be a backup. At your age, there are MUCH better uses for that money.
If you're looking at financing it, I'd also tell you to not do that. You're FAR to young to get started in that much debt. Hell, I'm 30 and don't want to finance $18,000 on a vehicle.

Ok guys I think I'm getting me an 05 ford F150 crew cab. But its got the standard mirrors on it. If I put trailer mirrors on it will the truck still look good and not stupid?
