    Do I count bcaa supps as calories?

    Instinct says yes, they are proteins, 10g=40cal. I never see the calories listed on the label though so maybe I'm off base in thinking that?

    i dont see any calorie numbers on any of my bcaa products...
    even if nutrition numbers were printed on bcaa products, i doubt the number would hold that much weight in my daily caloric intake.
    40 calories is probably around 1-2% of most our daily calorie requirements.... not much by my standards but calories nonetheless.

    I personally have never counted them. But they do have caloric value. Not significant enough for me to ever count them tho. Just personal choice.

    That pretty much sums it up, thanks. So 10 grams at 2:1 is roughly 58 calories. When I'm taking in 4500cal a day it is minimal, yes. But all the little things do add up. If you eat an egg you're going to count it as 70cal right?
