do you guys think a few cigarettes a week will have any significant impact on growth?
edit: everybody constantly says the same thing, a few a week will turn into a pack a day and I will be addicted. I have been smoking very occasionally for about 4 years, never had an urge or craving when I dont smoke for awhile, maybe Im just lucky. But that is beside the point, obviously cigarettes are not healthy, and this really isn't about me. It's just curiosity. The question I'm asking isnt should I smoke, or can I smoke and still grow, the question is do you think a few cigarettes a week (1-5) can have an impact on muscle growth. I say probably not, while friends argue that just a few cigarettes a week will boost my metabolism and lower appetite, making it harder to gain weight and that the deprivation of oxygen will make it harder for muscles to heal. what do you guys think?

Won't significantly hinder your growth, but since you're asking this question it seems you're not too addicted YET, so why not just quit? as it's horrible for your health and finances. Don't see one positive reason to smoke cigaretttes tbh. You can't go around people who don't smoke while you're smoking, otherwise you're a dick, you're killing yourself..etc

If you're not addicted i don't see a reason to even have those a few. I'm just comparing a pack a day for 10 years to quitting completely. But working out without cigs are far more better for recovery and not being tired after a certain number of reps. But like I said, I'm comparing to a pack a day lifestyle. It doesn't matter how many cigs you have, every one contributes to lesser and weaker blood flow which is a must in muscle building and recovery.
But like most said above, a few can't hurt. Especially if you're doing some type of cardio for lung rejuvenation.205 lbs, here I come!
