jesus, will people read the stickies?

No, it is NOT ok to even train them twice a week.

Would you train your arms everyday without weights twice a day?

Abs are like any other muscle, hit them HARD with weighted crunches etc in a 8-10 rep range once a week. Some people do fine with twice a week, but twice a week is maximum.

Abs are a muscle group just like the biceps, triceps, etc. So why would you want to train them more than any other muscle group?

i just have real trouble getting any kind of prolonged soreness in my abs after a workout, since i only really use bodyweight excersises, and i allready have pretty strong abs.

spider hit it bang on. Soreness means nothing. And everyone is right, do not train them more than twice a week, they are a muscle, like everything else.
